Susanna is a telecommunications engineer with 30+ years of experience. She has been involved in the design and implementation of many groundbreaking telecom industry network projects in Canada and has held senior positions in technology strategy, engineering, sales and management for many of Canada’s leading telecom companies including Rogers, Telus and Alcatel-Lucent.
Her technical expertise is in radio frequency and data communications with significant experience in Safety Code 6 (SC6), designing and building telephone, video distribution and microwave systems.
Her core competencies include microwave wireless communication – point-to-point and point-to-multi-point, telecommunications networks and systems, outside plant, network architecture, circuit switching, fiber optics and other access systems.
Susanna’s business experience includes economic due diligence, strategic planning, sales, marketing and business strategies, business analysis, feasibility assessments, needs analysis, system design and engineering, vendor and product selection, implementation planning, project management, technical standards, network asset evaluation, operations planning, services definition and pricing. She also has significant experience in team building, project management, business development and planning for new and emerging technologies.
She has deep knowledge and a vast network of affiliations in the following industries: cable TV, telecom service providers, ISPs, wireless service providers, utilities, emergency communication services providers, municipalities, transportation, oil and gas, First Nations, financial Institutions and universities.
